If you’re like me, then you love playing PUBG Mobile on your phone. But what happens when you want to play the game on a bigger screen? Can you play PUBG Mobile on tablet? In this article, I’ll be exploring whether or not it’s possible to play the game on a larger device and some of the best ways to do so. Let’s get started!
Can I play PUBG Mobile on tablet?
Theoretically, you should be able to play PUBG Mobile on a tablet. However, the game is not officially supported on tablets and you may experience some compatibility issues. Some users have reported that they were able to get the game working by changing the graphics settings to low or medium. Others have had success playing the game in emulator software such as Bluestacks or NoxPlayer.
Is PUBG Mobile available on tablet?
PUBG Mobile is not currently available for tablet devices. This means that there isn’t an official APK or application that can be downloaded for any tablets at this time. Bummer, I know. There are ways to get around this though using two methods: emulation and streaming. Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of each method.
Emulation: Pros and Cons
One of the best ways to play PUBG Mobile on tablet is by using emulation. Emulating an application, in this case PUBG Mobile, allows you to essentially run the game as if you were using a smaller device such as your phone or a smartphone. Some of the more popular emulators include Bluestacks 3 and Nox App Player, both of which allow you to play PUBG Mobile on your tablet.
Downloading an emulator is pretty straight forward. You’ll need to do some research on your own to find one that works for you (although I’d suggest either Bluestacks or Nox). Once downloaded, setting up your emulator with PUBG Mobile is equally as easy. Just follow the prompts and you’ll be on your way to mobile battle royale in no time!
Pros: Emulation is by far the simplest method when it comes to playing PUBG Mobile on tablet. You don’t need to do much and it also allows you to play the game on a larger screen which makes it easier to see and manage your inventory.
Cons: There is one major downside, or maybe I should say two of them, that come with emulation. First off, there’s the legal issues surrounding this method as you’re essentially playing an unapproved version of the game. I’m not a legal expert so I’m no sure how this works, but you might want to look into it further before downloading your emulator just in case there are any problems down the road. The other issue is performance. Emulation essentially compresses an app or program into a smaller file as to fit onto a device that it wasn’t originally made for. Because of this, there is a hefty performance cost that comes with emulation and it probably won’t run as smoothly as if you were playing on your phone or smartphone.
Streaming: Pros and Cons
Another way to play PUBG Mobile on tablet is by using streaming services such as Twitch or YouTube Gaming. This method, as you can guess by the name, allows you to stream your gameplay from your phone onto a larger display. There are several different services that you can use and each of them offers their own pros and cons.
Twitch (Pros and Cons)
One of the more popular streaming services out there is Twitch, which also happens to be the service I’m going to be using for this section. First off, the Twitch Mobile App is available on both iOS and Android devices so you can use whatever phone or tablet you have at your disposal. There’s also a desktop client, which is a free download, that allows users to stream their gameplay from their PC so you can pick whatever device you prefer to stream with.
Pros: As far as streaming services go, Twitch is the most well-known and popular among gamers. This makes it easy to find others that are playing PUBG Mobile on tablet if you need any help or assistance when playing the game. You can also interact with other users through chat which is a nice feature, especially during major events.
Cons: Twitch is far from perfect though, there are some significant downsides that come along with it which you need to be aware of. For one, the quality of the stream may not be as good as other streaming services out there. This can result in laggy gameplay and an overall poor experience while playing PUBG Mobile on tablet. Twitch is also extremely buggy and can crash your streaming software quite often which reduces the overall quality of the stream even more.
